A Very Curious Halloween Two Thousand Thirteen

It was Dexter's second Halloween, but the first where he could actually participate. It didn't take long for him to realize that if he knocked on the door someone would come out with treats. We went trick-or-treating with Sydney (of course) and a few others in the neighborhood that Harold grew up in. It was a lot of fun and I think Dex really enjoyed it. Oly was just happy to be along for the ride, as is usual ;)

Desiree's mom made this darling quilt for Oliver and it is my favorite blanket we have for either of the boys!

Dexter's First = Success

We had Dex's first birthday party at Sue Rich Bowling and it was a great success. It was a lot of fun and boy oh boy that boy is SPOILED.

Read this post, I bet it applies to most moms out there. I am trying to think this way when it comes to being in pictures right now. I don't want Dex and Oly to be left without pictures of their mommy just because I'm being selfish and insecure.

He's A Fish!

 Grandma and Grandpa Haney sent Dex some money for Christmas so we decided to get him a fish tank ball pit with it. He loves it! Well, he loves to use it like a hamster ball walking along the inside of it tipping it over and over so all the balls fall out everywhere. 130 of them. Never in the tank!
