August 2012, Rolling Over and Holding A Bottle

Things got a bit easier for mom in August! Dex learned to hold his bottle by himself...it doesn't seem like that big of a deal but in the morning trying to get us out the door by 6:30am, that can save me a lot of precious time! The rolling over is just cute and fun...and Dex seemed pretty proud of himself!

First, here is a darling picture of Pay and Brooklyn...Pay is just beaming in this one!

Brooklyn's passed out like a true Hollywood Diva in the glasses I got for her :)

Harold and Dex with Mary's friend Franco....

Dex and his buddy Gabe. We know so many adorable little babies!

Awww! Kisses!

I think this picture looks like he's doing a dance move in his sleep...

Self inflicted torture...he liked to pull himself back and then let go and of course he'd hit the door.

Dex being a picture hog with Carson :)

I just love the sweet sleeping baby pictures! His little cheeks look so full and kissable!

His expression is like "WTH MOM?"

I'm in love <3

Naked baby, as usual

This boy melts my heart. He is such a little doll!

Holding his own bottle! Yay!!
He was so surprised when he finally rolled over!

I've Got Spirit, Yes I do

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I thought I would do a post about what I am thankful for at this point in my life, and since I'm 27, I thought a list of 27 things I'm thankful for would be fitting! (In no particular order, except for the first 2)

1. My husband
2. My Dex
3. Harold and my jobs
4. My health
5. My Bush Family
6. My Haney Family
7. Heather, Jared and Eli
8. The Martinez family (mostly Desiree)
9. Mary- I really don't know where I'd be without my Mary.
10. The fact that I am able to have babies
11. The baby in my belly
12. My friends
13. Food!
14. Being able to share the holidays with family
15. The fact that Dex has such a big, wonderful family to grow up with.
16. The country we live in (even though it has some serious issues)
17. The people who fight for our freedom- and their families.
18. Technology
19. Dex's laugh
20. Church- It is such a huge part of my life now and I'm thankful for the fact that our babies will grow up knowing their Heavenly Father.
21. My matured patience
22. The fact that Dex has so many other babies close to his age that are cousins or friends.
23. Our home
24. Skype
25. Harold's 2 week menu that he creates for us. It makes planning dinner so easy, and is great for the budget.
26. Our first babies, George and Ernie- they can be such brats, but I love them.
27. Utah- So many wonderful things have happened for me since I moved here that wouldn't have if I didn't.

July 2012 Part II, Adventures With The Martinez Family

In July (or maybe in June?) Desiree started watching Dex for us. Let me just say, we are all so lucky that Dex has this family to care of him and that we can call them friends. They are so wonderful, and so good to our little boy.

Desiree takes lots of pictures for me, which I am so thankful for. Dex is always so happy and smiling in them and you can see how much everyone loves him and he loves them.

Tay and Dex
Such a happy boy!
This kid loves it at the Martinez house!
Some of the boys hangin' out
He looks like that giraff is his new best friend
Cute booger face. He totally looks like he's flirting here... :)
Bunch of sillies! Look at that smile on Dex's face!
The kids are so good with Dex.
This is pretty much my favorite picture ever. Taylor is so beautiful and Dex is so happy, I can't even handle it.

We had them over for a bbq and they brought their slip n' slide. It was a lot of fun, but I don't have any pictures of anyone actually doing the slip n' slide except for Dex.
He just layed there and let us drag him around through the water.
One of our neighbors brought out their pet turtle and the kids were facinated by it.

Somewhere in the circle there is a turtle...
Now lets talk about Easton and Dex. By far the CUTEST BABIES EVER. These two are like little buds and I love it so much! Easton is so patient and sweet with Dex and shares his toys and calls him his "baby Duck". Couldn't you just die from the cuteness?!
Hanging out with Easton in his room
Watching something, probably Curious George...but the best part of this picture? The hand holding!! So sweet.
Watching Curious George (since I can see it on the screen, I'm sure with this one)
Easton's room again. E is one of the cutest little guys I have ever seen in my life. Everything about that boy just melts my heart.
Every now and then Dex gets to play in the bath tub with Easton. The pictures are always priceless.
Watching a movie again
This is Dex and his little buddy Carson...except, I think he might be a bit of a terd to poor little Carson. He is the other baby that Desiree watches and they are only a week apart in age.
Dex talking to Carson.

July 2012 Part I, Boycotting Clothes

We have a lot of pictures of Dex with just a diaper on in July...and for all the months that follow! He likes not wearing clothes :)

Totally passed out
Sweet cousins
Pool time! It was such a blast watching these two play in the pool, even though they couldn't sit up on their own.

Fist time using this bath tub. I don't think he was too sure about it.
Getting warm after being in the pool. He kind of looks like E.T. here to me...
He was LOVING the pool! And had so much to say about it!
Chillin out with Brooklyn again.
Kenzie and Sydnie came to spend the night with us and Syd decided she was going to sleep in Dex's crib...and she did, all night.

Cute little naked boy!
I think I may have been taking too many pictures for his liking this day...
This boy makes the funniest poses when he's sleeping!
Dex got to meet his Grandpa Child's (my dad) in July.
Papa's little monster...again with no clothes on.
Dex got to try out some new foods in his little mesh binkie thingy. This was Strawberries, which he loved.
He fell asleep playing.
And of course we have to make sure he ends up a Packers fan!
Sweet Kenz. She loves her baby.
More pool time fun.
These two were talking away to each other...it was so precious.
He's finally starting to figure out his bouncer. Its so fun to watch!
Baby duck!
Me and my babies <3
